Fayetteville Lions Club "Fishing for Sight" Open Bass Tournament

Our club was excited to announce our 1st Annual "Fishing for Sight" Open Bass Tournament scheduled for March 27th, 2010 at the Winchester Tim's Ford Bass Club on Tim's Ford Reservoir.  There was a $1,000 guaranteed cash prize for the winner, random drawings, and plenty of fun. Essential Information

Entry Fee: $100 per boat payable prior to blast-off (please bring a check payable to "Fayetteville Lions Club")

Awards:

  • 1st Place Guaranteed: $1,000 cash
  • Random Drawing @ Weigh-in: $500 Cash
  • Random Gift Drawings

Date: Saturday, March 27, 2010 (Rain or Shine)

Times:

  • Registration: 4-6 am at the ramp
  • Blast-off: 6:00 am
  • Weigh-in: 2:00 pm

  • Big "Cross the Stage" weigh-in

Lions: all Lions should report for work assignment to Lion Tracy Simmons at the Winchester Bass Club Building at 3:30 am. (Yes, 3:30 am!) Bring a flashlight with fresh batteries. Dress warmly and in layers. A strip map of the site is here; ignore the specific names as they were from the 2010 Tourney.

From Nashville, take I-24 E toward Chattanooga. Merge onto TN-50 W via exit 127. TN-50 W becomes US-64 W / Veterans Memorial Drive. Turn right onto US-41 / Cowan Highway. Turn left onto 1st Ave. NW and go 2 blocks. At the stop light with a SunTrust Bank on the corner, turn right on N. High Street.  Cross the bridge over Tim's Ford Lake into Winchester City Park.  The boat ramps, fishing pier and Winchester Tim's Ford Bass Club facilities will be on your left.

From Fayetteville, TN, take David Crokett Hwy / US-64 / TN-15 east. Approaching Winchester, take 64 Business (it becomes 1st Ave NW and Hwy 16 N) towards downtown. (Don't continue to follow US-64 / TN 15 as they veer off to the right.) Approaching town center, at the stop light with a SunTrust Bank on your left, turn left onto N. High Street. Cross the bridge over Tim's Ford Lake into Winchester City Park.  The boat ramps, fishing pier and Winchester Tim's Ford Bass Club facilities will be on your left.
